Community Building

At Seattle Unity, fellowship is a vital part of the ministry. We believe that worship in community deepens our individual spiritual paths as well as our group spirituality. In this age of computers, cell phones, Skype, and the transforming of more social activity away from face-to-face relationships and into virtual relationships, we at Seattle Unity consciously make opportunities to commune with spiritual brethren. We provide many opportunities to build community through social activities, volunteering in our Love in Action Program, attending one or more of our ongoing groups, and/or attending classes and retreats. We also believe that volunteering and spiritual growth happen best with fun!

All our get-to-gethers – New Year’s Eve Party, St Patrick’s Day Party, Seattle Unity Auction, Summer Picnic, End-of-Summer Luaus, and sundry parties – are planned with the intention of building and deepening our community. You are warmly welcomed to participate at whatever level your heart desires. Come play with us and deepen your friendships!

Regularly Occurring activities

• Coffee hour in our Library after Sunday services is graciously hosted by long time congregant, Marj Rosser.
• Sunday Brunch Event Diva provides a scrumptious brunch on Sundays after both services where friends meet to enjoy each other’s company. This is a perfect opportunity to build relationships in a social atmosphere over a great meal!
• Wednesday Light Supper Event Diva also creates a wonderful supper on Wednesday nights where friends gather before the Wednesday night programs and services.
  Many affirm that they have made long time friends attending Seattle Unity’s Sunday brunch or Wednesday night dinner.
  Come join us to contribute your energy and light to our community!
